Help Ali Get To South Africa, Swaziland & Mozambique!
This 4th August I'm hoping to go on the Meaningful Tour (organised by i-to-i) to South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique and I need YOU to help me out! :)
I will spend my first few days in Kruger National Park in South Africa. Then, most importantly, two weeks in Ezulwini Valley, Swaziland volunteering at a care home for orphaned and underprivileged children, for local conservation projects and for wildlife research. My remaining few days will be spent visiting coastal areas of Mozambique.
Swaziland has the lowest life expectancy rate IN THE WORLD (39yrs!!!!!!). This helped me decide it was the best place to spend my time doing voluntary work - if only I could stay longer! My duties at the care home will include everything and anything, from building and painting to teaching and playing games with the children.
Unfortunately this trip is going to be very expensive - optimistically in the region of £2500 - which is why I'm asking for your help! I know one person can't make a huge difference to the world, but I'd like the chance to make a little!
This would be an absolutely incredible personal experience, and I will be eternally grateful to those of you who help me out with a donation of just a few quid, or whatever you can!
